We're so excited to have you join us at the Media Trade Conference. Our hope is that this one-of-a-kind event helps you build your business and connections with media. Below we have included some important information pertaining to the event. Please read it carefully, as it will help you prepare for the conference. If you still have questions, please feel free to contact Marcy Yanus directly at marcy@sema.org or 909-978-6690. Additional information will be forwarded as it is available.
Your Exhibitor Suite has been reserved by SEMA (complete room listing will follow shortly). You will present payment at time of check-in for your suite. It's important to note that the City of Garden Grove requires that the payment information used match the ID of the person making the payment. Please be sure to have your ID on hand and that name matches the credit card you are using.
When you completed your conference registration, you may have indicated the need for additional hotel rooms. SEMA increased our block of reduced rate rooms because of the information you provided. We did not book additional rooms for you nor did we take any payments for these rooms. Please use this link to now book your required additional sleeping rooms directly with the hotel using this link 2024 MPMC Media Trade Conference Exhibitor Room Block. If you requested more additional rooms during registration and don't need all of them now, that's not a problem. Just book the rooms you need now.
You may also call Colin Dorsey (colin.dorsey@hilton.com) (714) 539-3300 or the hotel toll free number at 800-362-2779. Be sure to explain you are a SEMA/MPMC Exhibiting Company (not media) to get included in the exhibitor room block. All rooms are $149/night.
We understand that it may be necessary or convenient for you to ship items you would like to display at the conference to the hotel. If you choose to take advantage of this, please read the below information carefully and follow ALL instructions.
Now for the good stuff! Part of the magic of the Media Trade Conference are the individualized meeting schedules. Start checking your email week of January 15th to see which media outlets you've been paired with. An updated schedule will also be provided on-site at Exhibitor Check-in. In the event that a schedule change becomes necessary, there will be procedures for making changes on-site during the event.
Got a cool corporate logo? Want to let people know how to find you at the conference? We welcome Media Trade Conference Exhibitors to hang a company banner or banners, in front of their exhibit suite ONLY. Banners must fit inside a "box" or area measuring 14.5 ft. wide x 5.5 ft. high (174 in. wide x 66 in. high). Banners may be hung on the inside and outside of railing, but must be contained inside "the box".Please note any railing sections that may be designated for smoke detectors and cannot have banners overlap these zones.
IMPORTANT: Zip ties may not be used to hang banners, as they damage the paint on the railings. SEMA recommends bringing and using long pipe cleaners instead. If you have any issues, please contact SEMA staff.
Signage in the suite windows is welcome, but please do not "stick" any decals or otherwise glue signage to the windows. The hotel will place laminated signs, provided by SEMA, on the doors of each suite.
The hotel lot should have ample space to accommodate parking needs. As a Media Trade Conference participant, you will have an adjusted rate of $25 a day.
Exhibit suites will be cleaned daily during the 12:00 p.m. lunch and 3:00 p.m. snack breaks. This routine ensures that your room may be tidied without interrupting one of your meetings. This routine ensures that your room may be cleaned without interrupting one of your meetings. Should your exhibit suite be unavailable for housekeeping at your assigned time, the hotel cannot guarantee that it can be cleaned until the next day. Please note that this is not a full clean of your room due to our timing restrictions.
The in-room flat screen TV may be used as a monitor for your computer. You should be prepared with both VGA and HDMI cabling, since we cannot tell which type of monitor will be in your exhibitor suite ahead of time.
