PETERSEN AWARD

The Robert E. Petersen Award is named in honor of the man to whom the Motorsports Industry owes so much. The award is presented to an individual from the media who has made a positive impact on the motorsports industry and MPMC during the past year. The award will be presented during the 2020 MPMC Media Reception on Tuesday, January 21, 2020 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Embassy Suites Orange County Airport North, Santa Ana, California.

Criteria:

  • Individual must have made a substantial, recognizable, positive editorial contribution to the industry during the 2019 calendar year / 2019 racing season.
  • Individual must have an ongoing record of service and support to the motorsports industry.
  • Individual must be an active member of the print, electronic or broadcast media.
  • Nominee is not required to be a member of SEMA.
