WHAT IS THE N.E.R.D SYMPOSIUM?

The Networking, Education, Resources, and Development (N.E.R.D.) Symposium is a unique event that connects automotive aftermarket engineers with service providers who offer tools to streamline product development process.

The focused and private nature of the event makes it the best place for those who develop automotive aftermarket products to learn about the tools and resources available to streamline the process. They will gain in-depth knowledge on products, participate in networking sessions, and learn about the latest in ADAS, emissions, diagnostics, and simulation. Participants will see product demonstrations, get hands-on with the tools and have all their questions answered.

OPPORTUNITIES AT N.E.R.D.:

  • Education Sessions

    • Gain knowledge from industry experts as they educate you on topics, products, and services relevant to the future of the automotive aftermarket. Learn about ADAS trends, testing equipment, simulation modeling and emissions, and witness hands-on demonstrations of the tools being used.
  • One-on-One Provider Meetings

    • Engage with companies whose primary goal is to help you streamline your product development, design and manufacturing processes. Talk about your current projects, including areas you may need assistance with. Share your future developments, learn about their technology and explore trends to see if there is opportunity for collaboration that was not prior realized.

HOW ARE APPOINTMENTS WITH PRODUCT AND SERVICE PROVIDERS SET?

A personalized agenda is created. Meetings are scheduled based on the priorities that engineers select. If a service provider is marked as not relevant to a participating engineer, then a meeting will not be set with that provider.

WHO IS ETTN?

The SEMA Emerging Trends & Technology Network (ETTN) provides automotive aftermarket engineers, programmers and product developers with information on vehicle trends and new technology. Through education, networking and research, ETTN helps its members stay at the forefront of the latest technology in the automotive aftermarket.
