If you haven't already heard about the SBN All-Female Bronco build, well now you have. This year marks the 10-year anniversary of the first All-Female build that took place in 2012. Ten years ago, I said yes to something that changed my life.
There are times in our life that we look back at the events that were most impactful and times that we felt like we had the most impact on others. When I look back in my life, the All-Female Mustang build was both of those moments for me. This is why I am so passionate about this year's anniversary build.
I met some of the most amazing women in the industry; they became my friends, my mentors and my family. It is where I grew the most as a person and woman in the industry. This was the moment that I confirmed that I was doing something I loved and passionate about. I am beyond excited to know that we can bring this to the next generation of women in the aftermarket automotive industry.
This year, Ford Motor Co. supported the build again and supplied SBN with a 2021 Ford Bronco Wildtrak. We are excited to announce that we have secured a project manager, Sherry Kollien from Motor City Solutions. Kollien was a part of the first All-Female build, so to have her join us again this year and to take on the job of project manager was the perfect fit. Kollien knows and understands what it takes to handle a project like this and the importance of this build, but my favorite part about Kollien joining the build team is that her daughter, a past SEMA Scholarship winner, will be able to volunteer on the build this year. SBN is excited to encourage the younger generation to be a part of this project.
We are also thrilled to share that Lisa Cabalquinto from DriveShop will be our Media Manager. DriveShop produces drive experience and media placements for the world's leading automakers and is the leading agency for automotive content in North America for over 30 years. Cabalquinto currently oversees the SEMA Social Media Correspondent Program, collaborating with over 130 automotive influencers to produce and share content for SEMA Members and SEMA programming.
The build will take place July-October at both SEMA Garage locations, Diamond Bar, CA and Detroit, MI with a final reveal at the 2022 SEMA Show.

The Turbosmart Kompact EM Plum back vent (TS-0223-1282) is a direct replacement for the factory plastic, electronic diverter valve, providing improved response, boost holding and reliability. The system retains complete OE/Factory control of the Blow-off vale operation. A true plug-and-play system made installation easy for our SBN build team.

These All-Female builds are led by the SEMA Businesswomen's Network.
