"The Women's Leadership Forum impacted me both personally or professionally in so many ways. I left feeling empowered and inspired. I cried during Erin King's discussion. All of the speakers really resonated with me personally and professionally. Not only am I a leader in my organization, but I also lead a family and a friend group. The discussions that I attended were applicable to many aspects of my life."
—Aliceje Keyburn, Yamaha Motor Corp.
"I was able to take a risk and put myself out there. I met some great women through networking and have already exchanged conversation with them after the event. I loved the "queen bee" syndrome Angelia spoke about. I also enjoyed Shaundra's story of her first failed talk but not giving up, Erin King brought a lot of energy, and I loved the borrow someone's cape tip. I took a personal impact on the importance of my own health and fitness and how that effects my day-to-day decisions, engery level/my ability to work better."
—Katlin Weber, T Sportline
"SBN leadership gave me the confidence and boost I needed to advance my career. I realized I was selling myself short by setting my goal out at such a long term, when I am ready now and I don't need to wait on anyone to teach me or show me what I need to learn: I can teach myself and study and learn it on my own. There is nothing that in unattainable. SBN taught me some leadership skills I was lacking that were so beneficial, that not only will help me, but more importantly, help my teams that I lead!"
—April Rogers, DeeZee Inc.
"It was overwhelming in a good way. I've always surrounded myself with men in this industry / that's just how it's always been in my roles. So it was refreshing to see so many women in the industry who want to support and uplift each other. Professionally it reassured me I am on the right path and gave me great goals to work towards."
—Kasey Tarnutzer, QA1
"I really enjoyed my experience. This was my first networking event with the SBN and it was exactly what I hoped. I met a lot of very inspiring women and connected with women who share similar challenges. It was nice to hear how they overcame obstacles and how their experiences helped them reach their personal and professional goals."
—Penelope Moroso, Moroso Performance Products, Inc.
This conference impacted me professionally in so many ways. Most importanly, Ann Sheu. Her keynote, and workshop gave me something I will not forget. Not only did she pour into my life and remind me that work life balance and intentionality are important when it comes to being a woman in business or corporate, but during her workshop, I was able to narrow down my values. This is something I had never done. At the beginning of the workshop I was confused, and questioned "Why do I not know my values." I felt like at the end of that day, I knew MYSELF so much better. Additionally, just being in the room with such powerful, like minded, and inspirational women impacted my mental health in great ways!
— Celina Leggiere, FOX Factory
I personally enjoyed my first time at WLF 2024. As a solopreneur and huge advocate for women involvement in this space, I do not get much time with fellow women in this awesome industry. It was awesome connecting with so many other women who love this industry.
— Annette Bauer, Annette Bauer Creative LLC.
"It was refreshing to be surrounded by other positive and empowering women, discussing both personal and professional development and leadership opportunities. At times I forget there are many powerful women in this industry, so networking with everyone in attendance was a priceless experience for me."
— Mallorie Anderson, QA1
"I believe it allowed me to walk away with a positive mindset, tools to apply in my business, and new friendships to lean on for assistance."
— Melissa Boudreaux, ORACLE Lighting
